Vodafone Comedy Festival reveals this year’s awesome line-up!
To celebrate Vodafone have created a series of Instagram GIFs featuring much-loved comics Fred Cooke and Joanne McNally.

Vodafone Ireland and Aiken Promotions today reveal the impressive line-up of acts set to perform at the Vodafone Comedy Festival 2019, taking place from the 25th– 28th July at Iveagh Gardens Dublin across five fully seated venues. With over 100 Irish and international names taking to the stage, the festival promises to be a fun-filled weekend of outstanding comedy. Tickets go on sale on Friday 14th June at 9am.
To celebrate the launch, Irish comics Fred Cooke and Joanne McNally have partnered with Vodafone to create exclusive Vodafone Comedy Festival GIFs for Instagram especially for the festival. Simply search VCF19 on Instagram’s GIPHY platform to share some gas GIFs before and during the festival for a chance to win tickets to this year’s show. Comedy lovers can download the GIFs here.
This year’s festival is full to the brim with home-grown talent, from household names such as Tommy Tiernan, Dylan Moran, Deirdre O’Kane, David O’Doherty, Foil, Arms & Hog, Alison Spittle, Neil Delamare, Jason Byrne to emerging acts like author, comedian and illustrator Aoife Dooley and online stars Enya Martin, Tony Cantwell & The 2 Johnnies. As podcasts continue to explode in popularity, the festival will feature the best of Irish talent including Blindboy and Lindsey & Jenny from the It Galz Podcast as well as stand up from Deborah Frances-White, host of the international smash hit podcast The Guilty Feminist.
We have another outstanding line up of American stars including Jim Gaffigan, Michelle Wolf, Des Bishop, Jena Friedman, Josh Wolf, Cameron Esposito, Dan Soder, Liza Treyger, Tone Bell, Langston Kerman and Catherine Cohen. They will be joined by amazing UK acts including Sindhu Vee & London Hughes, rising Australian comic Laura Davis plus Loyiso Gola from South Africa & Danish comedian, author and podcaster Sofie Hagen.

Tickets for the festival are on sale this Friday, 14th June at 9am and are sold on a show-by-show basis. 20,000 people are expected to attend the four-day festival, which is strictly an over 18s event.
