Vigil to be held in Dublin City in support of people who have died in the homeless crisis

A vigil has been called later this week in Dublin City for people who have died in the homeless crisis. This vigil is been organized by the home sweet home group who last year took over a building here in the city known as Apollo House. This meeting will take place this Thursday 7th September at 8:pm outside Apollo House just off Tara Street.

In the past week up to 3 homeless people have died while in the homeless sector. Only last week a homeless man, one of the three passed away after it alleged he fell while sleeping in a shop front area banging his head causing his death. Another young mother passed away while she was living in an emergency accommodation in Co Kildare, and another young lady died in Cork City.
