Prime Bling (PB) Is delighted to welcome up and coming Irish group, The Burma, who hail from West Cork, Here in Ireland.
The Burma are a five piece and there style of music is Indie, Rock, Pop, & Lo- Fi.
The Burma are Kevin, Micheal, Peter, Sean & Tony. The lads only formed in 2015 and already are making their presence known not only in Cork or surrounding areas but main land Ireland.
( Quick Bio )
The Burma are lo-fi, pop obsessed, guitar slinging lads from the small island of Cobh, hanging by a thread at the bottom of Ireland. Slick beats and bouncy baselines lay the groove for the needle injection of jangly licks and punchy melodies that course through your veins and send you twitching on to the dance floor.
Ditch the millennial monotony and cut loose to the futuristic sounds of right now. Like all good weekends The Burma will leave you bleary eyed and giddy with a taste for more. Gigs that they supported include Supporting D.A.R.K (Dolores O’Riordan, lead from the Irish group The Cranberries and Andy Rourke of The Smiths UK Group.)
Taken inspiration from the likes of The Smiths, The Strokes and Frank Ocean to name a few. They are believed to have similar out puts in their music and they sound like The Cars, The Killers, The Smiths & of course The Strokes.
The Burma have a few tunes out and one of them is a great track titled, Head In The Clouds do check it out its one of those songs you only have to hear it once to remember it. Another good track is Sugar Moonlight plenty of movement here it will have you dancing away. Another great tune is Out In The Heat that too will have you moving around even the backing music to it is very good.
They also do a very good cover This Charming Man originally from The Smiths.
The Burma just released their a new single recently “In The Summertime, and its available to download from Spotify.
You can follow the lads on their official fb page.
At present they are unsigned.
Here they are with one of their video’s _ Love Fades.
