Bridges Of Hope At Work Part 10, Support & Volunteering Acknowledgment List.

Last Saturday 28th July 2018 Bridges Of Hope (boh) who run the food and clothing station on North Earl Street/ Talbot Street, here in Dublin oversaw a huge increase in the amount of homeless people turning up seeking help. Hundreds of people from all walks of life turned up seeking some kind of help either seeking food, clothing, sleeping bags, toiletries, etc.

There was plenty of food on hand just as well as the crowds just kept arriving keeping all the volunteers on their toes and very busy indeed. Food which was donated by various volunteers, business, and people in general included home made Dublin Coddle, Bacon & Cabbage, Pudding & Sausages, Spaghetti Bolognese, Chicken Curry & Rice, Cooked Turkey & Ham, Sandwiches, Cakes, Chicken Burgers, Crisps, Cakes, Biscuits, plus plenty of Tea, Coffee, Pot Noodles, Hot Chocolate, Pasta Bake, and plenty bottles of still water, soft drinks and sparkling water.

If you would like to become a volunteer with (boh) or you would like to donate food, new or used clothing, toiletries, sleeping bags, mats, tents, etc please get in touch with us by either phoning us in Dublin North Side on 085-812-5434 or South Side on 085-1282-546. If you don’t have any transport we can arrange to have your donations to be picked up from your house.

Are you having a clear out? Please get in touch with us and we can also arrange to have your items of clothing, kitchen essentials, outdoor items including tents, sleeping bags, etc collected from your house to be given out to the people caught up in this homeless crisis thank you.

To volunteer just drop into our weekly stall which will be now held every Tuesday Evening, instead of the Saturday Evening starting 7th August from 7:30pm to 9:30pm thank you.
